Our 2017 tour has sold out, but 2018 will see the return of our tour to the neighbouring but hugely different nations of
Bangladesh and Bhutan. This tour is priced from $1560 on a twin-sharing basis.
Due to poplar demand October 2018 will also see our first dedicated tour to Bangladesh visting the Sundarbans mangrove forest.

November 6th: Arrive into Dhaka on your international flight. You will be collected by our driver and taken to your hotel to overnight.
November 7th: Our tour starts today in
Dhaka at 9:00.
Our guide will meet us at our hotel lobby at 9.00, and we'll head toward Old Dhaka. We’ll visit key tourist attractions in Old Dhaka throughout the day, including Dhakeshwari Temple, Lalbagh Fort, Khan Mohammad Mridha Mosque, Armenian Church, Star Mosque, Ahsan Manjil, and Sadarghat River Station with a top for lunch at a local restaurant at midday.
at 18:00 we will embark the Rocket Steamer at Sadarghat River Station and partake in a memorable overnight journey in to Hularhat.
November 8th: Arise early to enjoy the riverine beauty of Bangladesh from
the Rocket Steamer before disembarking at Hularhat around 9.00.
We then set off in an air-conditioned bus, and visit the 15th century Muslim city of Bagerhat, a UNESCO world heritage site.
We’ll visit most of the remaining mosques of the city throughout the day, including the 60 Dome Mosque, 9 Domed Mosque, Rono Bijoypur Mosque, Chunakhola Mosque, Bigi Beguni Mosque, and Singair Mosque. Also we’ll take a visit to the shrine of Khan Jahan Ali (the Turkish saint who came to spread Islam into Bangladesh), and Kodla Moth – a beautiful 17th Century Hindu temple from 17th century. In the early evening we drive onwards to Khulna where we'll stay overnight.
November 9th: After breakfast we transfer to Khulna Railway Station
and depart for Dhaka at 8.30 on the Chitra Express. Arrive Dhaka at 18:00.

November 10th: Depart Dhaka by air at 9:00. Arrive in Paro, Bhutan at 10:30. Drive on to Punhaka via the Duchula Pass and visit the famous fertility temple. We also drive to Lobesa and have a short hike to Chimi Ihakhang. Afterwards visit Dochula Pass enroute to Punhaka where we will stay overnight.
November 11th: In the morning, we visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong before driving to Gangtey village, located in the Phobjeykha valley. Hike around the valley and hopefully see some of the black necked cranes who start to nest here in early November. Overnight in Gangtey.
November 12th: Today we depart for the capital city Thimphu. A tour of the city will include the Takin zoo (national animal of Bhutan), Memorial Chorten, Trashicho Dzong, Buddha statue and an archery match (subject to schedule).
November 13th: Early morning we depart for Paro where will hike up to the famous Tiger's Nest monastery. Return to Paro town afterwards where we will visit a 7th Century Temple and the Kichu Monastery before having free time for shopping or relaxing around the town.
November 14th: Today the tour ends. We can help you to book onward flights with Druk Air to Nepal, Bangkok or India. We can also help to arrange onward tours to Nepal at request.
