Big Deer island

The Big Deer Island is surrounded by seas and is famous for its fresh marine produce. It is rich in prawn, swimming crab, conch, motley clam, clam and various fishes and praised by gastronomes worldwide.

There are many natural and human scenic spots including the Erlang Stone, the Geba Jujube tree, the dripping water, the Tiger Cave, the Camel Peak, Deng Shi-chang's grave and statue, Mao Wen-long's Monument, the Temple dedicated to the worship of a marine goddess, the British guidance lighthouse and the Denmark Church.
