Please be ensure to read the FAQ section. North Korea is unlike any other country and it is essential you are aware of everything before you step foot in the country.
There are certain items you cannot take into the country such as mobile phones and sensitive literature. A full list will be provided on booking of the tour. These items can either be left in your hotel in Dandong for safe keeping or in a safety deposit box on the North Korean border (a small charge will apply).
The North Korean authorities have the right to refuse your visa. Upon this happening you would receive a full refund. However, this has never happened to any of our customers before. if you fill in your application form honestly then there will be no problems. The only people likely to be refused are those with occupations such as journalist or diplomat.
Please allow for a bit of leeway either side of your trip to ensure everything runs smoothly. Trains have been know to be delayed entering and leaving North Korea so please leave plenty time for onward transfers.
Taking the tour does not guarantee entry for the Mass Games. The event is subject to weather conditions and will not take place during bad weather.
US Citizens are only allowed entry during the Mass Games (usually August and September) and prices are slightly higher (around €80 per person). The goverment are currently only allowing US citizens entry via from Shenyang rather than train from Dandong. These flights will cost €200 per person
Please ensure you have a multiple or double entry Chinese visa for your return to Dandong.
Regulations for travel in North Korea change frequently and the booking process can be quite long and drawn out at times. Please be aware of this before booking.
