Day 1: Arrive in Tehran airport and be met in arrivals by your guide before transferring to your hotel in Tehran.

A few hours rest before a tour of Tehran. In the late afternoon we depart for Kashan where we will stay overnight.
 

Day 2: After breakfast we will take a tour of Kashan, visiting the Fin Garden, Abbasian House, Bazaar and Soltan Hammam. After the tour we drive on to Esfahan where we will stay for the next two nights.

Day 3: Today we take a full day tour of Esfahan, visiting the UNESCO site of Imam Square, Ali Qapu palace and Imam Mosque.

Day 4: A half day tour of Esfahan today where we visit Chehel Sotun palace, the ancient bazaar, Sio Se Pol bridge, Khaju bridge and Jame mosque. In the afternoon we head to Yazd.

Day 5: After breakfast we start our tour of Yazd. The city is over 5000 years old and is the centre of Zoroastrian culture and also one of Iran's most architecturally unique cities. We will visit Amir Chakhmaq complex, water museum, Jame mosque, Old district, Dolat Abad garden and Zoroastrian fire temple.

Day 6: A further tour of Yazd in the morning before departing for Shiraz in the afternoon.

Day 7: After breakfast we visit the ancient city of Persepolis; a UNESCO world heritage site. Persepolis was the capital of the Persian Empire during the Achemaenian era. The vast site covers over 125,000 square metres and is composed of reception halls, private palaces, royal treasury and fortifications.

We then continue onto Naghsh-e-Rostam, the Achaemenian Royal Necropolis where we can see the remains of Achaemenian palaces and edifices.

Return to Shiraz in the afternoon for a tour of the city.

Day 8: Complete our tour of Shiraz, visiting Pink Mosque, Holy Shrine of Shah Cheragh, Karim Khan Citadel, Eram Garden and Narenjestan House. Here the tour ends. Either depart home from Shiraz or our partner in Iran can arrange you a  domestic flight back to Tehran (approx £65, payable directly on arrival).
